They were out loud and proud on counters, then it went to behind the counter, then to a display of stuff maybe on the back shelf behind the clerk, now they seem to be completely gone.

Snake oil at it's best. The stuff was stupid expensive as well.

It does have an effect on some use cases. My dog that passed away last year had a ruptured disk when she was 3. She suffered with weather related back pain for years. When we started giving her CBD chews, the pain seemed to trouble much less if at all. It also helped her be more comfortable during her battle with cancer.

I used it some nights when I know I'm going to hurt really bad after work, and it does take the edge off. It's not as good as actual weed or a pain killer, but it's not all snake oil either.

I guess. I tried it once, didn't do anything.

I thought the first time I did too. It's a proactive drug since it's main property is anti-inflammatory. So on my desk nights, or during summer on heavy haul days, if I take some right when I sit down for the night, it reduces the stiffness and pain by maybe 25%. It still hurts, but not as much. Might be all in my head, dunno, but popping asprin or advil is probably much worse for me.

I guess I need to start growing my own meadowsweets to make painkillers.

Did you leave it under your tongue or just swallow?

Sublingual absorption is better than gastric unless you take a high dose integrated into food/gummies.

This was a smoked variant. The potency of the liquid was supposed to be fairly high, but who knows for sure.

Agreed it's expensive as hell. I am taking CBD for arthritis in my back. I believe there were a shit ton of companies out there selling low grade, or watered down dosages. I had to go thru about 6 different companies products to only find out they were shitty. The one I am using now seems to be the real deal. I agree with Froggy below that it won't completely fix the situation, but it does help to reduce inflamation associated with arthritis, as I do get relief. But I also take a curcumin supplement with it.

What company are you using to make your purchase? DM me if you don't want to post in the clear.

DM me too please. I CBA to shop around for months to find one that's honest

I found that it helps lower your levels of stress, or maybe it's all just in my head.

Try wild lettuce tincture for back pain. Works well, can recommend

I wouldn't call it snake oil. It's still where I would normally find it. Maybe it's just you?

I don't know. Just all the places that jumped on the bandwagon seem to have quietly dropped it.
