The only reason vehicles have gotten bigger is because of mpg requirements that are based on footprint of the vehicle and other such dumbassery regulations.

I love driving a pickup truck, but people who drive duallies in a city are mentally handicapped in my opinion. Why the fuck do you need a truck that takes up 2 lanes inside a city with lanes that are half the size?

If you want to buy a small one, it’s impossible because the federal government dictates that trucks with a small footprint have to get 50 mpg or some insane shit like that. The only option that the manufacturers have is to make the footprint large enough so that they are compliant with federal mpg regulations.
