In the Past, confederate monuments were a recognized symbol of solidarity: that we could co exist and appreciate one another’s cultures. 100 years later they are tearing them out and renaming our roads and high schools. Fuck them. They don’t wish to coexist. They are the same mentality as isis: trying to erase our heritage and culture because we’re different and resist them.
