I've never had a credit card or a loan from a bank. I did however get finance for my motorcycle but that'll be paid off this Easter. I also own car bike caravan small house and my own land that it sits on debt free. All I pay for is power and the rates and that's about $60 a week. edit: I did all this through working my ass off for the past decade or so, about fifteen years of hard work and no life.
