Decades ago, I really wanted a job at a financial services building. I wanted into their call center because it was a better job than the shit one I was working. I saw an advertisement for a temp agency saying "now hiring for call center of a financial services company". I knew it was the place. I called the agency up and said I was calling about the job for the (company name). They said that they can't reveal the name but it said the area which it was in (same). I asked them how many positions they were hiring for. They said 4. I told them "well now you only need 3 more. Here is why you want me: I was formerly licensed in the field and know the industry, all I need to learn is the layout of their programs and I will outperform anyone else that you could possibly hire". I paused. He said how soon can you be here? 10 minutes. Ok, I will greet you at the door. I walked in, filled out their paperwork and as soon as I handed it in, he told me where to show up next week.
Think about what the position needs, and talk about how you already know it.
I wish you the best of luck. You got this.
