Hmm… all of this sounds very “white.” Maybe you could ask your hundred year old neighbor what he remembers from when he was a teenager. That’s the only thing you could do that would be “whiter” than your kind heartedness. I mean don’t push it. If they want to offer it they will let you know. But do it.
