I would rather die in a fire than ever have to hear that fucking chirp telling me to change that fucking battery again.

As a man scheduled to attend Seminary in the next calendar year, so that I may affirm my walk with the Lord, I can assure you that your fears are unfounded.

1st off, GTFO with your false NIV Bible. 1611 KJV is the only word of God.

Secondly:

Matthew 7:22-23 KJV

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

^ Sounds like you're trusting in your own works to get you saved.

Incorrect, the only way to heaven is through Christ. I’ve never said anything to suggest otherwise.

I have to wonder what side of this battle you’re on for even attempting to dissuade someone who feels the calling to do the Lord’s work.

You may need to reevaluate a few things, friend.

If you want to do the Lord's work, you need to get yourself a real Bible (1611 King James Version), learn the Gospel, and go out preaching and win people to Christ. Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 10:28, Acts 16:30-31 are a good place to start.

Seminaries and Bible Colleges are only good at producing heretics and wishy-washy doctrines that are not rooted in the Bible.

Oh and once saved, always saved.

I don't disagree with most of what you're saying.

That said, I do informal outreach at the local college at nights on the weekends. People are generally very accepting of me when I do this. Oddly, some of the best conversations are with Muslims when I do this. It's weird, but kind of cool to hear very basic questions from people who have never heard of the geed news.

I have to say that there actually are good seminaries out there: you have to be sure to choose one that's firmly rooted in what the Bible says, and be VERY aware of people taking away from or adding to the Lord's word. After all, 25 / 27 books of the new testament warn us of false teachers and teachings. This is a very important aspect that the Lord obviously wants us all to be aware of. I love the fact that you're so passionate about this. Please never stop what you're doing in this respect. It's important.
