I get suckered into charity shit. It's how i avoid attending church w/ my wife most the year. I basically do habitat for humanity and some charity shit in the run. Buys my absent seat in the pew all year long.
But in November? Is it a warm climate or some kind of indoor arena? Nobody should run anywhere outside in the winter. That's what treadmills are for.
I'd rather run in winter personally. November in va is pretty ice free most years, like 9/10
Yikes. Here where I am I only walk because -20 C and black ice plus winds during winter are basically like gambling with danger for no reason. Just run on a treadmill for the half marathon. Same thing without the virtue signaling in public. Do it privately in your home.
