I watched a TED Talks decades ago on how DARPA researched polar bears skin. Under certain surveillance technology, polar bears are basically invisible. It was many years ago when I heard this so I don't remember the details but I think they were working on cloaking devices based on polar bear skin. Interesting/Profound.
