My dad was at the Chosin Reservoir with the 1st Marines in 1950 when the Chinese attacked.
Years later, when I read up on this shit, it was too late to taunt him about being "DUNKIRKED" by the Chinese. He was already dead of old age. Too bad. Both of us could have argued til the cows came home.
I got lucky. I had a great dad. Mom was smarter. Together they made a great pair. It was only when they got real old that they became a problem.
