12 Pita Pintas, 6 mottled red, and 6 mottled black

Brooder is ready to go, coop is set. Nervous and excited. This is our first go-around with fowl.

Yeah the Alumicoop is an all metal, very large chicken tractor. Looks interesting. Can the roof handle a snow load? Are you planning to move it using a small farm tractor, or just manual? I imagine it's not very light. Wheels look sturdy. Seems well made from the pics. Maybe you could consider sharing the ongoing progress in s/Prepping or s/Homesteading

That I do not know as it does not ever snow here.

Although we have a tractor, the beauty of the alumicoop is that even I can lift and move it (small 5’ 3”, older woman). As the name suggests, it’s aluminum, so pretty light weigh while also being pretty sturdy. We have the 10x12.

And no, I don’t own stock in alumicoop, lol.

I will figure out how to post videos and periodically post in either prepping or chickens. Thanks for the suggestion.
