I've found this from renovating questions, to programming questions, musical / instrument questions, anything. The people on poal are way smarter and way more broadly life experienced and "renaissance men" than anything on even reddit niche forums.

People on reddit, even in niche forums often are dunning kruger smart. They give you the cookie cutter box advice any "main stream person" would give.

I asked poal to fix my computer and told me to press shift when starting my computer and then all of the sudden it was fixed and then said

No it isn't fixed you just started it in recovery mode and your kernals need more nuggets in your BIOS blah blahblahblahPostMoved wrong sub seriously your computer isn't fixed you need to...

I stopped paying attention after that, but it just goes to show how smart some of the people here are.

lol You can then thanks for fixing your corrupt file system (probably ext4) when booting in recovery mode.
