I hate fps, sports, racing, and fighting games. I prefer strategy games, strategy simulation or RPG's with a good story. Unfortunately I grew up as did most. With how much some are on here they don't have time to game lol
I'm still playing ps2 games. Old school jrpgs with polygons and fmvs! Remember when FFVII came out and the cut scenes were mind blowing? Crying when Aeris dies? Hell yes. Some of the best video game music ever. I even have the ost performed by Tokyo philharmonic.

I can concur. I've tried asking technical questions in technical forums, and usually only get "Why are you doing that? DO this!" when I clearly stated that the parameters of the project require it done a certain way.

I gave up on Reddit after the first big 1A purge. I've tried going back to some of the nich subs but the are full of garbage. I don't think I've found anything useful from there in years.
Depends on what you do. I use feedly and never even visit reddit. I can get the top ten posts from any sub delivered to me daily. For example, i've done some group buys on limited keycaps sets and doubled and tripled my money on em selling em 6 months later. The mechanical keyboard sub hasn't been like that in many years as there is so much more variety now.
It's good for free advertising of your shit as well.
edit: i also get also greentexts from the 4chan sub. what's best is most the time i can see the posts that were deleted as they were cached in the feed reader ensuring i see the funniest shit.

That was before the rot truly set in, it was more when it started slowly going downhill, I knew it could only get worse and from what I see by other people posting is that my original assessment was correct, life's too short, fuck that shite!.

A long time ago I conducted an experiment on there. I posted two separate posts on the same sub - one of which was a meme, the other was a post detailing an achievement, to a high level, which I had legitimately achieved, which was related to said sub. The meme got more than 5000 fake internet points. The achievement resulted in a 5 day forum ban, under the reason "trolling". No doubt the latter made the moderators on there feel like utter shit because those on there were blowing smoke up their arse about their "achievements" when in reality they had achieved fuck all.
