I have minimal, at best, problems with hans. That being said, I've never once down voted him, pinged him, or PM'd him. I call him my fan club though, because my interests appear to conflict with is. Rarely do I make a post, especially in space or astronomy related science, where he doesn't add either a personal attack against me or nonsensical, "this is bullshit" comment. Though tiresome, I simply don't care and have never responded. Such troll-like behavior is best ignored in my humble opinion. As far as I'm concerned, hans is as welcome on Poal as anyone. As with many things on both Voat and now Poal, I simply ignore the things I personally dislike. He has had an impact on some, however. For instance, I received a PM from someone who knew me on Voat asking me if Poal was worth him bothering to settle here. I explained to him that we were better than this and asked him to stick around. I hope he did, but I don't know for certain. My point is, we are a free speech site and hans is as free as any of us to utilize that privilege. It is the continual, what can only be described as mindless spam, much of which is ad spam begging for hits on his YT channels, that turns off many. The folks he's turning off also have a right to use this site, unimpeded by what many consider spam, without being forced to endure the dramatic madness. I'll leave it there. Defend him if you must, but realize he does have an impact on how others view our site. If he stays in his subs, so those not interested can move on and not have their Poal experience sullied, great. If he intends to provoke simply to get his points across, which the vast majority disagree with ... then he is the problem, not us.
