I read a by that made me think. As you may know, I'm an idiot. If I'm forced to think that should mean something. You know what I thought about? Poal's culture. Specifically, the fate of our friendly, community atmosphere and how we use the voting buttons. Did I make a bunch of subs in one day to tease Hans? Yes. However, if he posts in those subs (which he now mods with me) it's (mostly) topical.

I noticed that he has a lot of downvotes. None of those have ever been me. Not even once. Not even a comment. In fact, I'll be going through the subs I share with Hans and asking people who downvoted Hans for an explanation. To my knowledge, he has only spammed once and that has been clearly labeled.

I used to think "Hans should be more like . He has a lot of the same ideas, but he's quiet about it." I've come to realize that I was asking for him to self-censor. Hans is hostile, refuses to explain himself and cannot accept criticism. This doesn't mean he doesn't deserve free speech. Imagine if this site gets millions of users. We'll have thousands of Hans's. Will we downvote them all no matter where they post? How can we justify them not downvoting anything they dislike?

To be clear, I will still complain about Hans. I will still bother him. I will still feel joy about those bothering him. I will not let Hans be an excuse to change Poal's culture. Neither should any of you.

Hans is a spammer, a.troll, and he forum slides.

Whatever is the most posted in sub so it's not a sub most want to block. He was asked repeatedly to keep shit in appropriate subs and did not. After days of not down voting him I got sick of his bulshit posts, chat spamming, attacking everything and everyone I down voted everything he ever posted.

Apparently hans has s/anything now if he wants to post tranny stuff and fake animal stuff and fake space stuff to there appropriate subs then I will stop down voting him.

If votes don't matter then why does anyone care if they get up or down votes other than to change the color of there name.

I believe that poal has gained some bad actors mixed in with this recent influx of users.

Votes do matter, actually. Let's be honest. If we assign downvotes to mean a spam button, that assigns meaning to downvotes.

Dead on. You know what phrase I adore? "Kill the savage to save the Indian." I forget who said it, but it's a wonderful phrase. Assimilation is an active process done by, but also to the immigrant. We must force out foreign behavior. Drill our ways into them. But we do it for the Indian who we must remember has human dignity. Hans' posts in the appropriate sub, the sub he now mods with me along with others, are almost all not spam. I know how hard he makes things, but the savage is dying so let that Indian enjoy civilized life.

I don't think he is getting downloaded simply because people don't like the posts I think it's mainly because most of what he posts is in whatever. ALSO it's all pretty much the same thing with diffrent names; this isn't real, this person is a tranny- over and over and over agian.

I like Hans. Just because you don't like someone's style of delivery doesn't mean what they have to say doesn't carry some weight. Also, you don't have to agree with everything another person says. Doesn't make them a shill. Do I think zebras are painted horses as he once posited? No, I'm from Africa and have seen many wild animals up close, including zebras. Do I think ((they)) are pushing a tranny agenda and that there is an unfeasibly high number of trannies everywhere? Yes but it's because I did my own research. I think it's critical that people of Hans' age question everything. Right now the masses are in a fluoride- aspartame stupour, staring at their talmudvisions with glazed eyes. Without young, enquiring minds (like his), we're fucked.

I like this sentiment. I've bashed heads with him before on my other account (Crazyjoe33), which I found out what that number meant. He actually helped inspire me to change things up a bit. So Thanks , I guess. Oh, and shoutout to . You helped out too, in a way.

I have minimal, at best, problems with hans. That being said, I've never once down voted him, pinged him, or PM'd him. I call him my fan club though, because my interests appear to conflict with is. Rarely do I make a post, especially in space or astronomy related science, where he doesn't add either a personal attack against me or nonsensical, "this is bullshit" comment. Though tiresome, I simply don't care and have never responded. Such troll-like behavior is best ignored in my humble opinion.

As far as I'm concerned, hans is as welcome on Poal as anyone. As with many things on both Voat and now Poal, I simply ignore the things I personally dislike. He has had an impact on some, however. For instance, I received a PM from someone who knew me on Voat asking me if Poal was worth him bothering to settle here. I explained to him that we were better than this and asked him to stick around. I hope he did, but I don't know for certain. My point is, we are a free speech site and hans is as free as any of us to utilize that privilege. It is the continual, what can only be described as mindless spam, much of which is ad spam begging for hits on his YT channels, that turns off many. The folks he's turning off also have a right to use this site, unimpeded by what many consider spam, without being forced to endure the dramatic madness.

I'll leave it there. Defend him if you must, but realize he does have an impact on how others view our site. If he stays in his subs, so those not interested can move on and not have their Poal experience sullied, great. If he intends to provoke simply to get his points across, which the vast majority disagree with ... then he is the problem, not us.

Wow. Some of that could have been me messing with Hans though. Others were bothered with me and believed my transvestigator routine.

That's why I started using PoalTube links for his videos and many others. I guess I have him to thank for that.

I have no joy in defending him. I just know it is right and that I was weakening Poal.

I don't have completely clean hands in this, BTW. I did find it entertaining to egg hans on in mini-chat, so I'm guilty of that. That's just my personalty though and why I enjoy the chat function stuff some days.

Great idea to demonetize it ... thanks for that effort. I'll try my best to let this rest, but don't hit me if I slip - LOL. I'm an old man and sometimes I need a little levity in my life.
