NAV is Net Asset Value, i.e. the total of all the holdings in the fund. Funds normally trade somewhere around NAV, lower means the market thinks the fund is not worth it, higher means the market thinks the fund is more valuable that it's price - pretty simple stuff.

But there's been a number of holdings in my accounts that want special authorization to sell below NAV. I wonder why - these funds were snapping up their shares recently. Seems like the wind is blowing in a bad storm here.

I won't ask when the shareholders meeting is as that could narrow down the company, and also you. I'll just assume within the next 3 months or so.

It's multiple companies. The one I just read was Prospect Capital, but there are a few others in my queue that I need to review before casting votes.

Multiple companies wanting to be sold for less than their FMV. Sounds like (((someone))) who know the (((board of directors))) for these companies is looking to get the ownership handed over cheaply.
