The only problem I have with that is that, as a rule, children understand technology better than adults. ID verification like I went through on coinbase would've stopped me as a kid. The software my parents installed just taught me how to crack software at an early age, it didn't prevent shit.
My parents made an effort is what I'm saying. I'm not disowning my responsibility, but I was a kid and fell into temptation. It set me back a few years.
For my kids, I plan to pull the SATA cord for the boot drive and hide it when the PC is out of use. I'm hoping that will be enough.
Sounds like your on the path to being a responsible parent. Stay the course and God speed, my friend
