IE, at a small enough scale, something either exists or it doesn't.. which means at the basest of levels, all the physical world is binary, 1 or 0. So then, every particle (or lack thereof) is potential in the opposite direction. The outside force which massages physical particles isn't physical itself. It's extra-dimensional.
