Folks forget about all the people who served in the background (support roles) and don't think that without them nothing would have gotten done.

Well, "Rosie the Riveter" got plenty of PR exposure. Not so much for pvt. Joe Shmo who shuffled papers and fetched coffee. No glory in that task, but vital none the less.
