Thanks for the kind words. I'm excited to get out of here. its been a long time coming. I came to Jersey in 89 to pursue a record deal. in those days. you had to either be in NY or L.A. where the record companies were to even get a SNIF at a deal. After ten years slogging it through the scene here we called it day. A year LATER the record company came calling. So they took the two presses we had self done, remastered them at Abbey Road and made a single Album out of it. Album came out, band started to gain some momentum and then we got clipped. The victims of a singer who, despite all his talent, couldn't be counted to stay sober or out of trouble. BUT, the disc is still out there. It still finds fans to this day some old ones some new and I managed to be a SMALL footnote in R&R history.
Met my wife while this was all going on, got married bought a house, rehabbed it, sold it, had one built on the East End of The Island, worked a straight job for years still doing that, started a cat/dog rescue and now its time for THAT NY part to end. I've done all I CAN do here. Wife is ready for retirement from what has been a very lucrative job and we're finally in a position to escape so.....off I go
I'd call change a pain in the ass but not necessarily hard. But I see your meaning. Change is the ONLY constant in the universe. But again, i thank you for the well wishes! Right back at you.
