That is until my wife did some digging and gave me the skinny, which prompted me to dig myself. This led to a prompt response from me to their Sr. HR person, as follows (masked): Good evening, ***: Thank you for reaching out. I have heard of *** before, and I had seen ********** here and there in job searches, but was not aware they had become one in the same. To that end, I have done some cursory Internet searching for my own edification, to include here: https://*********.***/careers/inclusion-and-diversity and it would seem from this that ********** panders to every interest group under the sun, except for Straight White Christian Males. If I have made this in error I do apologize, but the message ********** is publicly sending is 180-degrees from my path in this life, and I will not support this message or abide in its execution; I am wholly invested in merit-based opportunity and reward. Again, I appreciate the consideration but I will not support ********** or its subsidiaries in pushing identity politics as opposed to merit-based opportunities. Respectfully, My Name Here Fed up with these fucks pushing this shit and thinking this EO woke bullshit is ok. Feels good to tell 'em all to go eat it. Of course they responded with a commie string like (paraphrasing) 'every company is embracing inclusion and everyone brings something to the table' or some commie shit. yeah? go get your diversity on, then... hahahah. just getting a response tells me I made the right choice. fuck 'em.
