Here in Texas what I find strange was before Sept 2021 to open carry a hand gun you had to have a 'concealed handgun license'. I would see always see several people open carrying. On Sept 1, 2021 it became legal for anyone who could legally own a handgun could legally carry openly OR concealed, and now I rarely see anyone open carrying.
