I like the dead internet theory not because it's true, but because there is a kernel of truth to it and it's becoming more and more true every day. More and more the intenet is being replaced with bots.

The internet isn't the same thing as search indexes. Search indexes are not the same as bots. Yes, there are more bots on sites that let you communicate with others, but that doesn't mean the internet is fake or there aren't people using it.

You don't understand fake internet theory. It's not that all the content is fake, it's that a lot of it is, primarily in social media. From a website owner perspective, you want people to get dopamine rushes from getting likes/retweets/comments/upvotes/etc. Instead of going through the trouble of getting real people to give those, you just edit it in the database and pretend real users did it.

But even in that thought experiment you have to admit that flat earth sounds like a joke to the rest of your solipsistic experience. Never heard of the dead internet theory before now. Again, it would be an outlier experience in the event of a solipsistic experience.
