I realize it is but a drop in the bucket and it may be an exercise in futility, but anything helps. I've got my AC dialed to 78, only to protect the dogs. Windows covered to keep sun out. Keeping appliance usage to absolute minimum.

Go on, call me a green faggot. It has happened before back in 2003, it'll happen again. I fear for the safety of my older relatives.

If it still happens despite our efforts, so be it. At least we tried.

Some of us do have relatives that do depend on electricity running. I'll be fine. They potentially wont be fine if we have another 2003.
