The Iranians we have here are all the ones that scammed enough of their country men to get out. None of them can be trusted. All of them will try and rip you off. No matter how many hand shakes and contracts you sign, they're going to lie lie lie.

I’m hiring, two good candidates, one is an Iranian guy who ended up in Afghanistan, and fled to US recently. Pleasant, professional fellow. No knowledge of our field except networking. Other regular White guy has relevant knowledge and experience (and went to the same college I did). Higher-up is really pushing for the Iranian guy, for diversity numbers I’m sure. Heard “but he’s older and more experienced and mature” today. Yea well the other guy/ kid is sharp as fuck and at least knows what we do here.... I said fuckin hire ‘em both then, because explaining our niche industry and terminology to a Farsi speaker will be near impossible

Depends on whether they call themselves Iranian or Persian.
