And it's all been downhill ever since. There have been a few happy moments, but it's been at least 90% shit ever since then, and it just keeps getting worse no matter what I try to do to better my life. I'm probably gonna hero out like my dad when I was 2.

Was thinking over exactly this last night as I was going to sleep and was working out how I wanted to word a post about it if I were to even make one on it. Will just scribble it down I suppose.

21 year jumps; 2022, 2001, 1980, 1959, 1938, 1917, 1896, 1875, 1854, 1833, 1812, etc.

Anything of significance happen in, just prior to, or just after those years? How does a person who was 21 at the time of the event recall or feel about what happened? How does a person who was not alive at the time or recently born when it happened feel about that event when they reached 21 years old?

  • This year, 2022, a person born now will not be 21 until 2043. They are too young to witness/understand the events occurring in and around this year.
  • 21 years ago, in 2001, a person born in this year is now or will soon be 21 years old and witnessed the events of the recent few years. They were too young to witness/understand the events in and around 2001.
  • 21 years prior, in 1980, a person born in this year was 21 when the events of 2001 occurred. They are now 42 years old while witnessing the events of the last few years. They were too young to witness/understand the events in and around 1980.
  • 21 years prior, in 1959, a person born in this year was 21 when the year turned 1980. They were 42 years old for the events of 2001. They are now 63 years old and witnessed the events of the recent few years. They were too young to witness/understand the events in and around 1959.
  • 21 years prior, in 1938, a person born in this year was 21 when the year turned 1959. They were 42 years old in 1980, and 63 years old at the time of the events in 2001. They are or would be 84 years old this year. They were too young to witness/understand the events in and around 1938.
  • 21 years prior, in 1917, a person born in this year was 21 when the year turned 1938. They were 42 years old in 1959, 63 years old in 1980, and were or might have been 84 for the events of 2001. I doubt many born in 1917 also witnessed the events of the past few years as they would be 105 years old this year. They were too young to witness/understand the events in and around 1917.
  • 21 years prior, in 1896, a person born in this year was 21 when the events in and around 1917 occurred. They were 42 years old for the events in and around 1938, they were already 63 years old for the events around 1959. They would have been 84 years old for the start of the 1980s, and were unlikely still alive for the events of 2001 as they would have been 105 years old, let alone the events of the past few years.

Considering how different the world was in each 21 year jump, how will the world be in 2043 compared to now?

How many who managed to be born this year or over the past few years will still be alive in 21 years (or even 5 years) from now?

Will there even still be a world? If so, will it be worth anyone or their kids living in?

As previous 21 year jumps make quite clear, things happening now and how they are addressed -or not addressed- do matter as it will impact the world that will exist -or not exist- in 21 years.
