Your gimp suit is 3% done!

This is a gift for a young family member. I've been selling belts and butt stock wraps for 100-200 dollars. Not frequently enough to call it a business, but enough to feel-good about my work. I'll post a video of a shotgun wrap I did

Really good stuff!

I still have to do the fine detailing and undercutting. Then will attempt to antique the leaves a saddle tan, but the outside a dark brown, I believe the contrast will be amazing.

Warm leatherette melts

On your burning flesh

You can see your reflection

On the luminescent dash

Warm leatherette

A tear of petrol

Is in your eye

The hand brake

Penetrates your thigh

A tear of petrol

Is in your eye

Quick, let's make love

Before we die.

What did it cost you to get into leatherwork?

A couple hundred bucks and some serious dedication. I'm always happy to answer questions and point people in the right direction, so of you get into it I'm a resource

Good stuff OP. What are your profit margins on a piece? Also, how long does it take to make the belt, for example?

Most of the actual work I do is gifts for family members, for now, to get my "reps" in. I haven't been timing myself on this piece. Shotgun wrap I posted was a job I did. Bought a $90 roll of leather which was enough leather for about 3 of those wraps, add in another $25 for eyelets oils dyes and string. Takes about 20 hands on hours to complete it and I charged $200 for it. People tell me I should charge more, but I just want to make enough to keep the hobby going

10-4. I've always been interested in this craft.

I will eventually start getting into making deer hide into buckskin leather/clothing

That's awesome.

Please keep up the good work.

Nothing scarier to a stage 5 nigger than authentic cowboy shit.
