They made the F1-12 buttons require the Fn key, and the shit like volume and brightness adjustments are the primary function now. It used to be the other way around, as God intended. Now I have to press Fn + Mute to refresh my browser.

You might have something similar in the BIOS.

Yeah, I'll have to check that. There's no Fn lock on the keyboard as far as I can tell, and Fn + Esc .
