I kinda thought they turned but went ahead and put a few in my soup. Fuck rancid is rancid. Dark chocolate, whiskey, nothing is getting that taste out. I know some people cant taste rancid but I certainly can.

Yeah that's a fucked up flavor.

I think I ate similar mold around Christmas time. Saved a soft sugar cookie from Halloween, still in plastic wrapper, decided to have it around end of December. Looked perfectly fine. Like 3-4 chews in, that flavor started to hit home. Moldy as fuck. And that taste stuck around for a long time.
