They offer coverage for "cyber events." Holy fook, what is this? 1997? Do I need to fax them about that? Should my gramma call them on her Moto StarTac and ask about that coverage? Wait here, we gotta warm up the Century, we'll just drive there and write a check.

What specifically would that cover? I mean it is 2022, most of yalls dumbass appliances are connected.

I have no clue what that would cover.

Well considering people control everything in the house by phone (think ac/heating) And everything else it doesnt sound ridiculous. Fuck toasters and coffee makers connect nowadays.

I guess that makes sense, but "cyber." It's such a 90s word.

That shits creepy as hell. None of that for me. I just set up a couple celluar trail cameras on my property yesterday that send pics to my phone as soon as theyre taken. Thats as far as it goes. Dont even have home internet, just my phone.

Must have been an auto update from their war dialing rider.

Yeah hold on, let me get the Color Computer III out and hook up the modem, we'll call every number in the prefix and see if we can get a BBS.

I have no doubt that there'd still be some hits in major metro areas.

DONT YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT THE CENTURY. THAT IS A FIBE VEHICLE FOR A FAMILY TO ENJOY, SIR. IT HAS POWER AND STYLE AND A SURPRISINGLY SPACIOUS CARGO AREA.

I'm not making fun of it, simply stating that it tended to be an older person's car.

I drove my grandmother's Century for a while and tried to buy it from my parents. It was a great car for long trips because it rode sooooooooooo nice. They (my father that is, my mother wanted it gone) wouldn't sell it to me and ended up giving it away after it sat for a couple of years and developed some severe issues with body rot and engine trouble.

House insurance is for rubes. Insurance is the biggest Jew racket in the entire world. Think about it. The Jews talk you into giving them money, that they don't have to give back to you, and for this you get nothing at all. Sure, every now and then they pay out on a fire. It's the same as it is with the lottery, which is rightly called a "tax on the stupid." Once in a blue moon there is a payout, to keep the suckers buying tickets. Drop your house insurance, or appartment insurance, or whatever. In a few years you will have saved enough money to cover the cost of any minor catastrophe, and the chances of your house actually being destroyed -- for example, burnt to the ground -- is vanishingly small ... about the same as your chance of winning the lottery.

I think I have that. If I do, it's in case my identity gets stolen. Been a few years.
