Learn about the socratic method. Make them answer questions and think through their position. But they have to want to know the truth. Many do not.

The words "why" and "how" can be very powerful.

It also has a huge advantage as answers provided by yourself bypass your own bias filters. Which makes it is much more powerful than simply telling the same thing.

It's correct because they've determined it is correct. Which may trigger cognitive dissonance. But that means it's past the filters, which allows for possibilities and acceptance.
