I honestly can't believe that rent has doubled in my city in less than 20 years.

I'm looking to move out of my current shitbox apartment and was searching on Craigslist for a new place when I stumbled upon a listing for a unit in my very first apartment building that I got on my own back in 2003. It was a shitty efficiency in a shitty part of the city and I paid $325 a month. Now apartments in that unit are going for $650 with ZERO upgrades.

$650 for an EFFICIENCY - a single room with a tiny kitchenette, small bathroom and a walk in closet.

In my area, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms are currently priced around a $100 difference, and some within the same neighborhood.

Rents are getting out of control and my landlord just raised mine 4%..

We had pamphlets sent to our house (wrong address/new mail carrier) about 5 years ago...looked into it. The ones in it differed in price range from 5K/moth to 30K/month. I called one to see if it was some kind of typo....and nope.

Called around a dozen in my state and neighboring states and these seemed to be normal. I pity those people who have to use those places and those who can't afford them. Its no wonder they killed a million or so elderly off this last year.....the kikes really can't bilk them for anymore and they can't get anyone but shitskins to "care" for them.

Growing older should fucking terrify everyone.

After they drain your wealth they ship you off to less desirable building that accepts Medicaid.

And when you die you leave a 20K+ funeral bill onto your loved ones. The "dollar" really as a cradle to grave system of oppression.

Everyone over the age of 30 should really be paying off their own gravesite/funeral arrangements, as death itself is stressful enough. To saddle your kids/families with that kind of bill on top of it is irresponsible. (and being buried on your own land is no longer "lawful". So, the land you "own" .. really isn't yours.
