Pro-vaxxers are as much stupid as those who died in Vietnam. When the government ordered everybody to go die in that shithole Vietnam, many people refused, but there were many idiots who really believed that dying in Vietnam will defend US from communism. The history is repeating with idiots who let inject dangerous crap into their bodies because the government has ordered them to do so.

Sure, there were some who went to Vietnam who believed in the propaganda about the war. Most however, were poor, unable to get a draft deferment, and they didn't want to be there. The antiwar protests were huge, the hippie movement was a thing (Don't believe anyone over 30), and burning draft cards was a thing.

Most of those who died in Vietnam were simply unlucky and I contend there is not that much psychological difference between those that died in that god-forsaken country and those that were fortunate enough to survive and return. In contrast, I observe huge differences between those today who drink the Kool-Aid about the jabs and believe the government versus those that do not. You could possibly draw a parallel between Vietnam draft dodgers who escaped to Canada and the rebels of today who refuse the mandates, but even that's a stretch.
