This a Trap!

Do NOT fall for this. We have two ways to change the Constitution. The first is with specific amendments that must be voted on individually etc... The second way is by calling a Constitutional Convention. This has never happened. The second a Constitutional Convention is convened THE ENTIRE CONSTITUTION BECOMES NULL AND VOID! All of it goes right out the window. A room full of politicians then make a brand new constitution from scratch and We The People have little to no power to influence the process. They write a Constitution and we live with it or we rebel.

So in our current political climate that is dominated by the Deep State, Soros money and Zuck money, Controlled opposition, RINOS, the uni-party and flat out traitors... What type of Constitution do you think they draft if we put them in a room and close the door?

Do you think we end up with MORE freedom or LESS freedom?

I think these questions might as well be rhetorical. Good by 2A, replaced by some hunting regs and 'protection of the public good' clause. Good by First amendment, replaced by hate speech laws. Good by freedom of religion, see hate speech laws again. Term limits? Ha. Political funding reform? get real. Higher taxes? Count on it... to the point of communism. Controls on Big-Tech? keep dreaming. How about Big-tech being granted constitutional authority to censor, remember 1A is gone?

This is the nightmare in store for us if we let them call a Constitutional Convention.

Our current politicians cannot be trusted to write a new constitution from scratch!

Bullshit.

The Supreme Law of the Land is the Constitution and contained within that Constitution is an amendment process. If that process is circumvented by a ConCon, it will render the Constitution null and void.

If lawmakers and politicians can't abide by the rule of law that we have, they won't abide by a new rule of law the moment it suits them to ignore it. And when they ignore it, there won't be precedent to defend the rule of law.

The whole purpose of a con-con is to destroy the 2A and put limits on gun ownership, travel, and free speech.

Read the fucking Constitution! All that matters is Article. V.

Article. V.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

Once the convention is called and convened they can propose any and all amendments they want. Those amendments get voted on right away AT THE CONVENTION ... "or by Conventions in three fourths thereof" The people go into a room and for all intents and purposes writ a new constitution with no oversight from anyone outside the room.

When a amendment is proposed in the normal way it only becomes law when "ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States" This protection DOES NOT EXIST IN A CONVENTION!

Normal amendment: A specific change is proposed. That specific change must be voted on and passed by 'two thirds of both Houses' and THEN it needs to be 'ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States'

Constitutional Convention: Sates send representatives to the convention. Once the convention starts those representatives can propose ANY change and then can themselves vote and pass ANY change. This is a 'Republican' process where those individuals are empowered with authority. They go into a room, make changes, and that is is... we live with what they give us.
