I spoke with a Canadian in Florida yesterday. I asked him what he thought about the convoy? He replied " theyre disgusting". I didnt try to change his mind.

I pointed out that as a Florida citizen I have never worn a mask. Never got vaxxed. And dont need a pass to go anywhere.

As the law stands I believe he has to quarantine when he goes back in April. Every Cancuck that can comes to Florida from Jan-Apr. Then they beat feet back home because if they stay too long the IRS wants to tax them.

I pointed out the fact that pastors have been arrested for holding church services and he and his wife had no reply.

Many of the basic freedom concepts commonly understood in America are not even part of the Canadian lexicon.

Ideas like the need to own a firearm.

Ideas like the citizen is the source of sovereignty.

Most Canadians, and probably Americans, for that matter, have never read the US Constitution, never mind anything from the founding fathers. All of that information is deliberately suppressed in Canadian society. In fact, the freedom that Canadians do envision largely comes from the media. There are certain aspects of this that Canadians assume will always be granted.

This has a powerful effect on Canadian society, so much so that it can be exploited. For example, when police come to your home in Canada, they can indeed enter and search without a warrant. However, if you stand your ground and stupidly demand a warrant, because that is all you have ever seen on TV, so that is all you know, the police will be stalemated - and they usually back off, rather than beat up another stupid civilian which will have dramatic consequences.

The net effect of this is it doesn't matter what the law really says - it is the common perceptions held by Canadians that really is the guiding force of our society - the powers that be are forced to abide by it regardless of whatever law they believe gives them power. The powers that be created a Potemkin society to undermine the rules of the real society, but this Potemkin effect is so powerful it has ensnared the powers that be within the very trap that they themselves created. They have found themselves to be just as bound by it as we are.

Once you understand the rules of the matrix, you also understand where the rules can be bent and broken.
