It's what makes Poal lame. Everyone knows that downvotes are for what people don't like. Why try to change that? Why not just create a spam button like every other site instead of mislabeling a down arrow for spam button? I get that it's a way to discourage downvote farming, but what about upvote farming? If I want to downvote I should have that right.

It did do something on many liberal sites -- it showed that the libs cannot tolerate the truth, and don't dare to allow their users to know how many of them are right wing.

Downvoting doesn't do anything? Yeah it does, it tells the user that people don't like the content. Although, there are certain cases where upvoting and downvoting doesn't make sense in some content. When you see something that you don't agree with, yet you believe it should be trending.

My idea of 'ignore / block what you don't like' doesn't work on youtube, and yea I know theres loads of sexual faggot shit on there because I watch it.
One problem is I watched a few faggot videos, and now my front page is full of near naked men which doesn't even have age restrictions on it. You can watch faggots in their underwear talk about their porno activity and it isn't age restricted so even children could end up seeing it.
Its basically unconsensual porn, if I don't want to look at it its still there flooding my front page now.
