I think that a big portion of Cacausians have been politically illiterate for centuries. The difference now since dunno 1900 and forward is that the dumber folks have been given more and more influence.

You guys seem to think, for whatever reason, that we're beginning the disillusionment of the US and Europe. Sadly, you're far off base. Yuri spoke decades ago about how exactly what you describe, demoralization of the USA, was already in full effect. It has been decades since Yuri disclosed the outline of bending a nation. What we're doing right now is scurrying around the bottom and trying to find solutions. A small portion of Gen X was more or less abandoned and pretty much all of Y was lost. Boomers were the last foothold, but by the grace of God, most of X resisted somehow, when they should have been broken (see Y). Luckily for all of you, Z is going to do amazing things. You'll see evidence of this if you earn enough of their trust for them to confide their complaints in you. All hope isn't lost. In fact, it's brewing and soon we won't even need "hope".
