As much as it is sad, I think what the Professor is suggesting is not a good way to fix it. If you break the intended purpose of the badging system, it won't make that thing true.
It feels a lot like awarding a fallen soldier a medal they never earned because you feel badly they didn't get the chance to. It doesn't honor their memory.
I will respectfully disagree. I understand your point. However, the very individual who put all chips in to start and maintain this sight, deserves to be honored and remembered. And I suspect this very sight was much a source of contention with his family. And I speculate on what a hardship that was for them. A young man, with a young wife, and young children, trying to fight the good fight. It absolutely deserves our utmost reverence.

Actually, I think that's a better idea. A badge for all fallen Poalers, named in Boobs' honor.
Boobs had the courage to start it, and the courage to maintain it in the line of fire.
