The other problem is they are relatively high in carbs.
Fortunately for me, I have tall, thin parents which allows me to be free from worry about carbs, but I guess if you had to choose your carbs, cashews might be low on the list.

Hmm. Never heard of that! It might take you [decades] longer to see the negative effects, like it did for me.
Naw, I doubt it because I only eat when I’m hungry and typically stay away from junk food. I realize metabolism changes as we age, but genetics is a big indicator of what we might expect (it’s complicated). I’m just not ever going to get fat.
