Ibuprofen is a bad choice in general- naproxen or even aspirin are better alternatives.
I do my best to avoid any medication, but I'd like to hear more about this. Never heard anything necessarily bad about ibuprofin.
"Regular use of ibuprofen may eventually cause:
anemia due to bleeding in the stomach impaired hearing kidney and liver damage bleeding in the stomach and bowels increased risk of heart attack.1 "
Well shit puts down ibuprofen
why is ibuprofen bad?
it is not
Supposedly they fuck with your ACE-2 receptors on your cells; this makes it easier for coronaviruses to infect you.
I'm not specifically talking about the coof, I'm talking coronaviruses in general. They need that ACE2 receptor in order to infect. Taking ibuprofen is like... unlocking some windows or doors in your house while burglars are prowling around outside.
Ibuprofen is the only NSAID that I have read about having this effect.
I usually use acetaminophen.
