I have two packs of it sat in the freezer that needed using up.

Fortunately it was still as fresh as the day I got and froze it and I didn't get sick.

Freezers are wonderful.

howd it taste? was there freezer burn, taste/texture issues?

Freezer burn is only an issue if it defrosts and refreezes, or if you have a shit freezer.

I have the modern Samsung 70cm one, nothing spoils at all in the fridge or freezer.
