I have two packs of it sat in the freezer that needed using up.

Fortunately it was still as fresh as the day I got and froze it and I didn't get sick.

Freezers are wonderful.

Boring post I know, thought I would share.

Well technically it also says use within 1 month of freezing.

I think freezer burn would be more of an issue than putrefaction. If it tasted ok, you beat the system!

Freezer burn is only an issue if it defrosts and refreezes, or if you have a shit freezer.

I have the modern Samsung 70cm one, nothing spoils at all in the fridge or freezer.

Freezer is great. I have no issues with using good food stored in a freezer for a year.
