[You might want to travel](https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew.html) I lived in MX for few years. Considering a return.

No. Not going to be traveling internationally until this bullshit ends (which I expect will never happen).

They might tie your passport renewal to your vax status the same way they did with child support.

They did not ask anything about it. I just this week sent in paperwork.

Traveling to a country that doesn’t speak English and has less TVs makes the bullshit suddenly disappear. You may be officially scared by the false narrative being pushed. Honestly, I don’t have a conversation where COVID is mentioned even once a week, unless I am talking to someone from the US, then it’s many times during each conversation, and supposed cases, and variants, and risks….

Maybe I misread whatever stupid government website, but it sounded like you had to be jabbed to return.

Not US citizens, only foreigners.

Showing your passport to get into Mexico is hilarious. Like the most good goy thing ever.

Literally no one checks anyone at the border going into Mexico. You just drive right in. It’s getting back into the US that you have to wait in line 6 hours to show a passport for

Got turned back to the Mexican border office to have it stamped. So yeah, they check but after that never was checked and you never drive around with your passport when you shop or go out to dinner. Just a photocopy of your driver's license. I used an expired license. They are so 3rd world, many people live there years and never get caught. They are cracking down on people leaving for a day then coming back in to renew the 6mo tourist stamp.

I mean I guess I can’t say what always happens, but I’ve driven into Mexico at least a dozen times and never been stopped or seen anyone stopped or even any kind of border guards at all

Really? I would just skip across and use it as an opportunity to get another identity.

Yep, totally free flowing traffic going into Mexico

I've never even had one.

I lost mine 20 years ago

Everyone I know who has traveled internationally this past year was jabbed; they did it so they could travel. Stupid reason, but so far five of them still appear healthy. I imagine if given time, they will live to regret their decision. Let em live it up for now, I wish them well.
