The local scrap yard didn't have any problems giving me exact change as I cleaned out some of my old stuff getting properties ready to sell.
I keep a pocket full of change now for this reason. It's really the pennies they're often in need of.
Turns out those delivery drivers and shipping people are actually needed. Especially for positions that require CDLs. So maybe these companies shouldn't have fucked so many drivers out of their over time pay last year going into the first quarter of this year. Especially when unemployment was paying so well. Some of the shipping companies were still trying to low ball drivers over the summer.
No I love when companies try to chew there potential hires I had a buddy which I couldn't believe he did but pay these kids $10 an hour to do it work and said if they don't like it he smack the stack of applications next when I said I got all these guys here that'll take it. I mean that's just some scumbag shit but they all do it.
I'm already seeing ads from smaller shipping companies/depos saying they pay full wages and properly schedule drivers.
Same with these bigger companies getting pissed that a huge portion of their workforce refuses to come back to the office vs working remotely.
