So any outlet still spreading this has an explicit reason for spreading this ineffective narrative (and they have the data to know its ineffective). So you have to ask, why are they still spreading it?

It doesn't work, going along with their coping isn't going to help, it's just going to tell them that they are right. Show them the old articles about 98 percent effective then tell them that they are a fcuking sociopath for moving the goalposts so far and acting like their goals defining success haven't changed.
