I have a fake tree that I've used for years. It started to shed it's fake needles years ago. Each year I get the effect of a real messy needle-shedding tree. I have to vacuum right after it's put up to get rid of the shed needles, and of course, right after it's packed up again in it's box. Sheds like crazy. I keep decorating it, it hasn't gone fully Charlie Brown Christmas tree yet...
You're missing out on the daily, multiple foot stabbings by real tree needles as you walk around the floor in socks. Good times.
