Went in to get a burger and some covidiot in a mask yet no hair net for his man bun told me I needed a Marxist tampon over my mouth. I pointed to someone seated 10 feet away eating a burger and asked why they have a dining room open full of maskless people if it really is a pandemic. Literally said to him he was a "fucking idiot" and even the governor isn't enforcing masks.

Walked out, filled out a nasty review and will never spend another dime there. Someone needs to make an app monitoring businesses complying with this tyranny so I can easily avoid them saving my time and gas.

Best burger I've ever had in my life was in Saguache County Colorado. They would grind up rib-eye steak into patties... seemed blasphemous to me but biting into that burger was heaven between two buns. They were a seasonal operation and I almost cried when they went under.

Grind your own out. 1/3rd Sirloin, 1/3rd 85/15 ground beef and 1/3rd pork. Once you start mixing your own ... after you do nearly everything eaten out will taste like cafeteria trash.

I am or will very soon. I'm starting over. I have zero children, no wife now and my dog just died. I make $500 a day when I feel like it, just paid off my truck and I don't pay rent let alone have a mortgage. I need to start swimming a mile or more each day again and eat better. I invite all recipes you have. I'm fortunate to have a best friend with a beautiful family who let me remodel my own little "tiny home" on their property.

I love showing my appreciation for them through improving their living, be it fixing stuff, completing projects or cooking a nutritious meal. I'm so happy I have these wonderful people who tolerate me while I rebuild (again).

Swimming is an incredible workout. I wish I'd had more time in my youth to do more of it. While it's great that you're getting enjoyment out of others, remember that you only have one life and you deserve to live it too. Sorry about you losing your pal. I always have 2 ( 5 years apart) so the blow is never as hard.

Just spend each day as a day...don't look to far into the future that you miss out on what a great thing today truly is. It's unlimited in its potential, all you have to do it "feel like it". Money isn't everything, it only makes doing what you want to do easier. That's it.

As far as recipes go, we're older and our tastes have tame down. We enjoy the flavors of lamb, beef, pork, and lake fish. we use as many fresh herbs as we can grow for the year and use clarified butter. Other than that iodized salt and fresh crushed black peppercorn we don't like to overly spice stuff (or add 'heat') as our digestive tracts don't handle it as well as we could in our 30's.

Just experiment with cooking, make it enjoyable and not a chore. Everyone has to do it so why not try new stuff in a pan or pot and see what YOU like. If you don't lock yourself in to much you can always challenge yourself to try new flavors and combinations (in food). I wish you luck in finding your palate .
