At the bare minimal we have to express our discontent. Otherwise yes we 100% deserve it.

It's a wide world of possibilities, some people actually like what doesn't make sense. Everyone and everything has to push boundaries. So if you're going to show content / tolerate, and not even show discontent, then you are basically signalling it's ok. And therefore you obviously 100% deserve it.

Some people are saying "but we do show our discontent". To who? Other people it's safe to show your discontent? Other people who think exactly the same? Almost does nothing for whether you doing even the bare minimal for not deserving it.
