I have no friends tho.

But they can't be any worse than nato.

I have pizza so wont be eating the beans for a few days, they are in the fridge after washing in some fresh water plus salt.

Unsalted beans need to be vacuum sealed like in cans if keeping at room temperature, or you need to use salt, change the water daily, or put them in the fridge.

2 days? Why? Overnight is more than enough. Salt isn't necessary but the brining helps soften them to make them faster to cook.

Damn dude. I've never soaked chick peas but I usually soak my beans overnight without salt.

I do this for blackbeans but only for 1 day max. Is it typical to do this for 2days with chickpeas?

No, they just aren't anywhere near done after 1 day. You still need to boil for ages.

If you do them for more than 1 day you have to change the water or add preservative e.g salt.

Ill have to keep this in mind. I left some black beans for more than one day because I got a last minute request to do a double shift, and what you said happened to me.

Chick Peas isn't another word you use for your balls is it?

I always let them soak for about two days, just rinse in clean water, then boil them. I rarely soak in salt but I add salt to the cooking water with a few bay leaves.
