Irrational? Every media source they read & watch tells them the same self affirming information. All of the major social media websites, facebook, twitter, youtube ALL concur with the official government and main stream media narrative.
Why wouldn't they believe it.
They would have to first come to grips with the idea that the major news media is lying to them.
Hell, they wouldn't even know where to go for a reliable source of alternate information.
For that matter, I don't personally know where to go for reliable information myself anymore. But I DO know who is consistently lying to me. I also expect that if the vaccines were working well it would be plainly obvious by now.
